We would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who donated to the UMBC Annual Fund this fiscal year. The gifts from alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of the university will:
* Provide merit-based scholarships, fellowships and research opportunities for the campus community.
* Extend supportive environments in residential living learning communities.
* Ensure Ph.D.candidates can complete research while supporting families.
Giving in fiscal 2009 ended at midnight June 30. Please stay tuned for more details about how much you helped raise, and more specifically, how that money will carry on UMBC's tradition of excellence.
If you missed your chance to donate to UMBC in fiscal 2009, you can still give to the Annual Fund. Every contribution, regardless of size, has the ability to make a huge difference in the UMBC community.
